Answer: You can contact No Barriers on 810923 Mon-Thurs between 08.30-17.00 or Fri between 8.30-16.30

Question: Do I need to have a Care Manager?

Answer: No. You can refer yourself if you feel you need support and meet the criteria without having a Care Manager allocated to you.

Question: I don’t have a CV will No Barriers help me with this?

Answer: Yes. No Barriers can help you to compile and write up a CV. They will also help you with interview skills and even come along and support you at an interview if you wish.

Question: Can you visit me at home?

Answer: Yes. No Barriers are more than happy to come and visit you in your own home if you prefer, just speak with us to arrange a convenient day and time you would like us to come and see you.

Question: How do I know if I qualify for help/support from No Barriers?

Answer: You have to be aged 18 or over & have a disability or barrier which prevents you from accessing Training or Employment opportunities (Paid or Unpaid). If you are under 18 we may still be able to offer help/support in certain circumstances so please contact No Barriers.

Question: I am an Employer / Training Provider, will No Barriers support me?

Answer: Yes. No Barriers will continue to give you support as and when you need it whilst an individual is employed or training with you even if they have been with you for some time. For more details contact No Barriers.

Answer: No Barriers offers Benefit Advice, Career advice and support, Training opportunities, CV writing, Interview skills and support and Travel Training (helping you plan journeys using various forms of transport). Answer: There is NO COST to you as long as you meet the criteria. To find out if you meet the criteria please contact No Barriers.

Answer: It will depend, No Barriers will be able to offer you advice with regards to what type of employment or training opportunities you are looking for and whether they will have an effect on your benefits.
No Barriers works with each case independently to meet the needs of the individual, so each person may have a different outcome with regards to their benefits. You can also go to our external links which will take you to the UK Governments advice pages on benefits.
