The Local Housing Allowance Rate (LHA) you are entitled to depends on the number of bedrooms you need.
You will need one bedroom for each of the following:
Every adult couple.
Any other adult aged 16 years old or over.
Any two children of the same sex until they are 16 years old.
Any two children regardless of sex under the age of 10 years old.
Any other child (someone under 16 years old).
The number of living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms is ignored for the purpose of the size criteria.
