Information for Providers
Supporting People are tasked with making sure that the providers are meeting the standards in the contract they have with The Isle of Wight Council. This involves continuous quality assessment and contract monitoring as outlined in the QAF (Quality Assessment Framework) below . Each provider must also supply the team with information on a regular basis to show how well they are performing.
SP-QAF and Contract for Hostels 2018 (PDF, 347KB, 22 pages).
SP-QAF and Contract for Framework 2018 (PDF, 344KB, 21 pages).
Each provider needs to have in place certain policies and procedures that are checked by the Supporting People team regularly and have appropriately checked and trained staff and volunteers.
The way the service and its staff work with their clients should be open and fair, holding no secrets from the client and empowering them to make choices freely. Where information is needed, the client should be able to have confidence that the service will respect their right to confidentiality.
Providers are paid every 28 days in arrears. A payment timetable can be requested online from the Supporting People team, please use the online send a message to this service form. Alternatively use the details found in the 'Contact' tab above.
