Information for Providers

The Homeless Intervention and Support team are tasked with making sure that the providers are meeting the standards in the contract they have with the council. This involves quality assessment and contract monitoring. Each provider must supply the team with information on a regular basis. This information shows how well they are performing. Each provider needs to have policies and procedures in place which are checked by the team on a regular basis. Providers must also have appropriately checked and trained staff and volunteers. 

The way the service and its staff work with their clients should be open and fair. Holding no secrets from the client and empowering them to make choices. Where information is needed, the client should be able to have confidence that the provider will respect their right to confidentiality.
