Information for Providers
Supporting People are tasked with making sure that the providers are meeting the standards in the contract they have with The Isle of Wight Council.
This involves continuous quality assessment and contract monitoring as outlined in the SP-QAF and Contract for Framework 2018 (PDF, 344KB, 21 pages).
Each provider must supply the team with information on a regular basis. This information shows how well they are performing.
Each provider needs to have certain policies and procedures in place. These are checked by the Supporting People team on a regular basis. Providers must also have appropriately checked and trained staff and volunteers.
The way the service and its staff work with their clients should be open and fair. Holding no secrets from the client and empowering them to make choices. Where information is needed, the client should be able to have confidence that the provider will respect their right to confidentiality.
