Review of Premises Licences
At any time following the grant of a licence, you or a responsible authority may make an application to the Licensing Authority for the review of a premises licence or club premises certificate. This could be because of a matter arising at the premises relating to any of the four licensing objectives:
- the prevention of crime and disorder
- public safety
- the protection of children from harm
- the prevention of public nuisance.
The application must relate to particular premises for which a licence or certificate is in force. It must also be relevant to the promotion of the licensing objectives.
Download a copy of the form.
You must submit a fully completed review to the Licensing Authority.
When the application is served to the Licensing Authority, you must also send copies to all of the responsible authorities and the holder of the licence or certificate.
The Licensing Authority will decide whether the application is ‘relevant’, meaning it relates to one or more of the licensing objectives. If relevant, notices will be displayed on or near the premises, at our offices and on our website.
