Benefits to businesses of LoCase

LoCASE provides businesses with:

  • Grants,
  • training workshops,
  • fully funded events.

Targeted business support is on offer for companies who offer “green” or low carbon goods and services.

The LoCASE programme brings together three key requirements for the growth of a low carbon economy:

  • Stimulating demand,
  • supporting supply,
  • transferring knowledge.

This work offers focused, individual support to SMEs (including social enterprises). Improving competitiveness and creating jobs through increased energy efficiency. This also produces new low carbon businesses.

The grant element of the programme can offer up to 40% of the cost of an eligible project, with the remainder matched by the business:

  • Energy efficiency grants

It can cover costs such as LED lighting and controls, heat exchangers, building improvements, thermal storage systems, solar PV and battery storage systems.
