Children and Young People’s Plan
We produce a Children and Young People’s Plan every three years.
The outcomes and actions in the plan are based on the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment. The plan also takes into account feedback from children, young people and families about what is important to them and what they want us to focus on.
The Isle of Wight Children’s Trust provides the governance to the plan, holding us to account to deliver the actions. They also oversee progress and the promotion of an Island-wide approach to supporting families. The Isle of Wight Children’s Trust is chaired by the Director of Children’s Services and reports into the Health and Well-being Board.
The current plan is under development and the draft will be published as part of the consultation process.
