Assistance dogs

Customers who require assistance dogs to be present with them for a performance are asked to book into the wheelchair spaces as there is space in this area for your assistance dog.

The following arrangements are made in order to allow customers with assistance dogs to have the best possible experience:

Water bowls for assistance dogs are provided on request.

On request, the theatre will provide familiarisation with the facility as part of an induction.

Guidelines are provided for staff on how to interact with assistance dogs.

The assistance dog is the responsibility of its owner, who must ensure that:-

·         It is kept on a lead at all times when walking around the premises.

·         It does not foul the facility or grounds.

·         Its requirements in relation to toileting and feeding are met.

·         It behaves in an appropriate manner at all times and does not disrupt others.

In the unlikely event that the dog does foul inside the leisure centre, the owner must report this to a member of staff to ensure that the area is cleaned and sanitised.
