Conservation Area Character Appraisal
The Isle of Wight Council has produced a Conservation Area Appraisal for the Brighstone Conservation Area. This document was adopted on 23 December 2009.
The Appraisal sets out the Council’s definition of the special interest of Brighstone Conservation Area. It will be used as a basis for planning decisions, appeal statements and conservation advice.

The conservation area is covered by an Article 4 Direction. The properties which are included in this direction are listed in the schedule and shown on the map.
