Conservation Area Character Appraisal  

The Isle of Wight Council has produced a Conservation Area Appraisal for the Seaview Conservation Area. This document was adopted on 03 September 2007.

The Appraisal sets out the Council’s definition of the special interest of Seaview Conservation Area. It will be used as a basis for planning decisions, appeal statements and conservation advice.

Article 4 Directions

Part of the conservation area is covered by an Article 4 Direction this is shown on the Article 4 Direction map. Please note the Article 4(2) Direction applies to all residential houses but does not apply to flats or commercial properties. The area covered by the Article 4 (2) Direction confirmed 19 November 2002.
