Housing needs surveys
A housing needs survey asks people about their current housing situation and their possible housing needs for the future. They are designed to discover what kind of housing people need and the type of affordable housing in their area.
The surveys are a tool to decide if the available housing is suitable for the changing needs of your community and what new type of housing might be needed. The surveys are carried out by Town and Parish councils and residents’ groups. The information contained within the surveys will be used when considering planning applications and the local plan core strategy.
