Adelaide Resource Centre

The Adelaide is a purpose built Resource Centre situated in Ryde. It has 24 single rooms spread over two floors which are accessible by both stairs and a large passenger lift.

We are a reablement service offering support to people on discharge from hospital, allowing them to regain independence. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission, offering a high standard of care by trained and experience staff in a comfortable environment. We have a positive approach to person centred care and promotion of independence. We work closely with GPs, District Nurses and other Health and Social care professionals to maintain client’s wellbeing. Clients have access to chiropody and bathing facilities.

Nutritionally balanced meals are provided. These are freshly prepared and cooked onsite daily and reflects each individual’s likes, dislikes and dietary needs.

The centre offers a wide range of stimulating leisure activities. These can include outings, seasonal events, indoor entertainment and the occasional party.

The Adelaide shop, is near the reception. The shop offers a range of toiletries, confectionery and other useful items.

There are parking spaces at the front of the building providing level access into the centre.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspected The Adelaide on 14 May 2019 and rated the service as ‘requires improvement’. You can read the latest CQC report on The Adelaide.
