Higher Level Teaching Assistant

The Federation of the Church Schools of Shalfleet and Freshwater & Yarmouth are seeking to appoint a part-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work across the Federation
Start date: as soon as possible
Working pattern:
18 hours: To cover PPA, week A at Freshwater & Yarmouth CE Primary
12 hours: To cover PPA, week B at Shalfleet CE Primary
The Federation of the Church Schools of Shalfleet and Freshwater & Yarmouth purpose is to educate children in an atmosphere of Christian love where all achieve the very best they can, now and throughout their lives.
This post involves regulated activity with children and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the Amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.

We are seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive Federation. The role will be working across both schools to cover the PPA of our teachers.
About You
- Holds HLTA status or equivalent qualification
- Has a proven experience working in a primary school setting
- Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills
- Is confident in managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment
- Is passionate about helping children thrive academically and socially
