We are seeking highly motivated, professional and committed Active Travel Officers to join our externally funded Transforming Travel on the Isle of Wight programme. Using funding secured from the Department for Transport, you will design and implement campaigns, events and other initiatives which transform access to employment through active and sustainable modes.

Working in a multi-disciplinary project environment, these exciting roles will be responsible for leading the delivery of activities promoting walking, cycling and public transport for journeys to and from work, and business travel. You will build and maintain positive relationships with a range of audiences, including Island businesses, employees and those seeking employment.

With a good standard of education, you will have experience of delivering behaviour change projects and understand the motivations required to deliver mode shift amongst the target audiences.  

Your excellent written and verbal communications skills will enhance your ability to effectively engage, motivate and enthuse the target markets, and you will be required to demonstrate excellent communication and project management skills in a relevant field.

You will join and add value to an experienced and diverse programme team at the forefront of active and sustainable transport innovation.
