Starting as soon as possible, we are looking to appoint someone to provide support to 2 pupils with special educational needs. You will be part of a team of SNAs working under the close direction of class teachers and the SENCO. You will need to: 
have experience of working with children with SEN and/or medical needs within a school setting
be able to form highly effective professional relationships with children and parents and implement a range of strategies to support pupils with varying conditions
be passionate in supporting children to develop independence and confidence and believe they can achieve their very best
be confident to adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of pupils with SEN
demonstrate strong behaviour management skills whilst remaining calm, patient and positive
communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
understand confidentiality and safeguarding
