An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified professional in Highways and Transportation Management to work within the Highways Authority at the Isle of Wight Council. The Isle of Wight Council works in partnership to delivery Highway Authority Services through a PFI contract. The successful candidate will become part of a growing team supporting the implementation of sustainable transport matters.


You will work in collaboration with other subject matter specialist, stakeholders and Service Provider and will have the opportunity to share your skills and knowledge with colleagues within the Council.  Reporting to the Highways and Transport Client Manager you can expect to be active on a number of projects at any given time – these can vary in both scale and nature, making the workload extremely interesting and technically challenging.


The successful candidate will be working as part a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team. Day to day you will have a wide range of responsibilities as you oversee projects through the full life cycle. There will be a strong focus on transport modelling and data analysis.
