Grade 6, £8,861.84 to £9,404.54 (16 hr post), £11,077.30 to £11,755.68 (20 hr post) per annum

Hours: 2 x 16 hours per week post, 1 x 20 hour per week post

We are looking to recruit three people to promote a positive image of the prison libraries to the prison population, to provide high quality library services and excellent customer care.              The three post holders would work 20, 16 and 16 hours per week respectively.

You must have at least basic experience of customer care, an understanding of the impact of prison libraries, and a good knowledge of books.

Essential qualifications for the post are 5 GCSEs or equivalent, while excellent customer care and ICT skills and the ability to relate well to people from diverse backgrounds are also required. Any appointment would be subject to criminal record checks by the Prison Service.
