St. George’s School is a unique provision for SEN as a secondary school for students with severe and complex needs.


We have three vacancies;


LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT – T1 (Permanent full-time position) x 2

31.25 hours per week, term time only.  Hay Grade 3 (£18,933 - £19,184 FTE per annum approx. £13,315 - £13,492 pro-rate per annum).


LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT – T1 (Permanent part-time position) x 1

19.25 hours per week, term time only (Monday – Wednesday). Hay Grade 3 (£18,933 - £19,184 FTE per annum approx. £8,202 – £8,311 pro-rata per annum).


We are looking to appoint LSA’s to provide classroom assistance across the school to a range of students with special needs, some of whom exhibit challenging behaviour related to their learning difficulties.  Applicants will need to be able to cope and manage in a challenging environment with special needs children.


Experience of a working knowledge of young people with autism and complex needs would be an advantage.


It is essential that applicants have a Level 2 Maths and English qualification, or equivalent.
