An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Public Health team as an Administrative Officer.

The post holder will join a busy, dynamic, friendly administration team providing comprehensive, effective, timely and efficient business support as part of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Public Health team, with a focus on the Isle of Wight.

The post holder will be able to work well within a team as well as autonomously; seeking advice when required. A flexible working approach is essential, together with delivering work to high standards and within deadlines.

The successful candidate will have good administrative experience and a sound academic background, along with excellent organisational and ICT skills.  This will include competence across a range of applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

This is a part-time post; 30 hours per week on a 2-year, fixed term contract.
