The Goulding’s Resource Centre are looking to appoint positive, committed and forward thinking individuals who will join a bank of Assistant Managers that will manage the duty shifts at the Centre. Our services aim to help people back into independence and the Assistant Managers lead the shift through line managing a group of staff of in varying roles.


You will play a key part in supporting to deliver a high quality service, which has a person centred approach and actively supports and maximises people’s independence.


Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a good understanding and experience of working in a care home setting with a good knowledge of the regulatory process.


Reporting to the Registered Manager and working with the existing Assistant Managers you will be responsible for monitoring the day to day operation of the service, ensuring the shift runs smoothly, directing staff, dispensing medication, dealing with other professionals visiting the home and arranging admissions and discharges of the people using our service.


Experience in a health or social care setting is essential with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent being desirable. Full training will be offered to support you in this role.
