The post holder will report to the Transformation Manager within Organisational Intelligence and will project manage a range of activity across all council services. You will provide advice and support to other project managers to ensure best practice in line with the council’s Project Management Framework. You will support the transformation manager in the delivery of the property rationalisation programme within the IWC and manage office moves, changes, and closures within the Council. You will coordinate and project manage the moves and changes required, creating strong links with ICT, facilities and service areas that are essential to the effective delivery of those requests.
You will be required to report on the progress of wider council programmes and projects and assist in the initiation of those projects across the council, providing advice and support to others.
You will have proven experience of managing projects using a recognised framework.
Key to the work of the whole team is being able to see the big picture and link projects and services together to ensure true customer focus on the outcomes required. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively support and challenge services through change in systems and in the development of end-to-end processes.
The successful candidate will be completely flexible in their approach to work and able to adapt and change their level of support and delivery dependent on the project needs.
