St. George’s School is a unique provision for SEN as a secondary school for students with severe and complex needs.

HAIR & BEAUTY INSTRUCTOR – PART TIME

2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) – 13.00 hours per week

 

Salary will depend on experience and will be paid on an Unqualified Teacher Scale (Salary range: UQ1 £7,736 – UQ11 £12,069).

 

We are looking to appoint a Hair and Beauty Instructor to teach our options groups on a Tuesday and a Wednesday. We would love to hear from anyone who has a level 2/3 in all technical aspects of hairdressing as well as experience in a salon.

Experience of a working knowledge of young people with autism and complex needs would be an advantage but not essential.

This role falls within the strategic partnership between the Isle of Wight Council and Hampshire County Council. The management reporting line for this role is ultimately through Hampshire County Council Children’s Services Director/Assistant Director and managers who take operational responsibility for children’s services.
