Record office accessibility information
How can we help?
We welcome everyone. Our staff are happy to help and will do their best to make your visit comfortable and accessible.
You’re welcome to bring a friend or support person with you. Guide dogs and assistance dogs are also welcome.
We’re here to support you.
Parking
We have nine customer parking spaces. If you’d like to reserve a space, please contact us in advance by phone or email.
Building Access
Our building is on a hill. The main entrance has four steps and a handrail from the road to the front door.
There is no ramp available.
The doorway is too narrow for most wheelchairs and may not be suitable for some mobility aids.
We have an alternative entrance with fewer steps. If you’d like to use it, please get in touch before your visit so we can make arrangements.
Inside the Building
If you need help during your visit—such as getting around the building or accessing resources—just ask. We’re happy to assist.
- we have no automatic doors
- there are multiple level changes within the building
- no accessible toilets on site (nearest accessible toilets are 400m away)
Facilities
- magnifying glasses available in the search room
- Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome
