Electric vehicle charging strategy consultation
We have created a draft Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) strategy (PDF, 120 pages, 2.9MB) about the future of electric vehicles and the public chargepoints that will be required to support them on the Island.
We would like to hear the views of residents, visitors, businesses and anyone else within an interest in chargepoint provision. This will help us to understand more about the ambitions, challenges, and opportunities to move this strategy forward.
We've also created a number of maps to show the potential locations:
- Chargepoint locations in council car parks
- On-street chargepoint locations
- Shortlisted sites for new chargepoints
We have also created a summary document of the Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) strategy (PDF, 4 pages, 0.2MB) which provides an overview.
The EVCI strategy will be available to view at public libraries and County Hall reception.
- complete the EVCI survey online
- complete a written questionnaire which will be provided with printed copies of the strategy.
You can request a printed copy or large print version of the survey by calling 01983 821000 or emailing email@example.com.
You can also request a printed copy of the draft strategy document by calling 01983 821000 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Please state whether you would like the full or summary version
The survey contains a number of questions about different aspects of the strategy. You can answer as many of these as you like or just give us an overview of your thoughts in the 'general comments' box.
The closing date of the survey Friday 21 April 2023.
