Eligibility criteria and request a scheme

For a Residents Parking Scheme to be implemented, the following criteria MUST apply: 

• no more than 50% of dwellings have or could have private parking available;
• no less than 75% of the available kerbside space is occupied for more than six hours. Between 8am and 6pm on five or more days per week from Monday to Saturday inclusive. A genuine need of residents must be established;
• after a full consultation process, more than 50% of the total dwellings in the streets affected need to be in favour.
