Statement of Community Involvement

The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) (PDF, 183KB) sets out how and when we will seek the views of local people, business and key organisations on local planning matters.

The SCI has been updated in 2024 partly in response to the Local Government Authority Peer Review of the Planning Service.

In the summer of 2023, the council consulted on a revised version of the SCI. Changes were made to the SCI as a result of the comments received.
