Where to find items

  • Books are kept at a special storage site (called an outstore)
  • everything else is at the Record Office in Newport

How to view an item

  • check the library catalogue to see where the item is stored
  • make your request by emailing us - include your contact details and the books details so that we can get in touch with you in case the item cannot be found
  • allow three working days before you visit the Record Office to view your requested item
  • if it’s at the outstore, a staff member will get it for you.
  • feel free to contact us if you need help finding something specific
