Waste service announcements

You can now book a same day visit to the Island’s Household Waste and Recycling Centres (HWRCs). 

Same-day bookings can be made up to two hours before your visit. 

Amendments or cancellations can be made to a same-day booking up to an hour before your visit by using the 'Your HWRC Bookings' option. Open the booking in question using 'View' and then amend as required. 

You will still be able to book in advance if you prefer.

You will be sent an email with the booking reference number on when you book your appointment. The booking reference will start with iw. Bring this with you when you come to the recycling centre.

You can amend a booking up to an hour before your visit by using the 'Your HWRC Bookings' option.

Cancelling or amending your same day appointment

If you no longer need your booked appointment or want to change the registration of the vehicle, you can amend your recycling centre same day booking online- up to an hour before.
